SGHS Mentors Welcome New Students

SGHS student mentors have been working hard to help ease the transition of new students at SGHS.  Several mentors provided tours for all new students in the district on Thursday August 16th, 2012.  The mentors were able to provide individual tours to students the day before school started to help ease the anxiety on the first day of school.

The student mentors also hosted a new student mixer during advisory and 3rd hour on Tuesday August 28th, 2012.  SGHS Administration and Counseling staff introduced themselves and gave advice to the new students.  The mentors led activities to allow all new students to get to know one another and answer any questions.
