Bloomsdale Elementary welcomed Renee Goodman, donor recruitment representative from the American Red Cross, to speak to the students about the importance of donating blood. Even though students at the elementary school are too young to donate themselves, she wanted them to know about the importance of having blood donors so that the students could help spread the word to their families and friends.
Ste. Genevieve Middle School students in Mrs. Houston’s 6th grade advisory class recently collected money by selling candy grams. When their project was complete, they donated all of the funds to the Animal Control at the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Gary Stolzer came to school so that the students could present him with a check.
Welcome to Ste. Genevieve R-II
